The Ranger 10 year wireless RF interconnected photoelectric smoke alarm is powered by a 10 year non-replaceable lithium battery.

This radio frequency (RF) enabled smoke alarm can be wirelessly interconnected with up to 40 other Emerald RF enabled smoke alarms on the one RF network.
